The Chase Bays Thermostatic Oil Sandwich Plate was designed to adapt your engine for an external oil cooler in a reliable, lightweight, compact, aesthetically pleasing, and high flow design. It's key features are:

The built-in thermostatic oil valve allows vehicle to warm up to operating temperature before sending oil through to an oil cooler. Without this the vehicle can take 20+ minutes to warm up and that's bad for the engine. Oil Sandwich adapters install between oil filter and oil filter landing for easy install of an oil cooler.

INSTALL

TORQUE SPECS: 30 ft lbs

There is no IN and OUT for the 10AN Adapters...it is pressurized in one direction so it will flow based off pressure. It does not matter which end goes to the cooler or which side of the cooler, it will push itself through in the only direction it flows.

 

NOTE: 

- Factory cooler equipped engines may require non cooler stud on select applications.

- Thread Sealant must be applied to NPT threaded ports when installing a plug or sensor.
